Great peace of mind that my baby girl is in a nurturing, loving, social and educational environment. She loves going to school! I love the programs, and the fact that there is accountability / oversight in each home.
I’d just recommend improvement on the speed of communication / response times from the admin team; fortunately it does not reflect the quality of Childcare but I know it has scared off potential clients as it can just give the optics that they don’t take parents questions very seriously. I’d recommend always responding within 24 hours – even if it is just to say they will call you when they have more information to share! All in all I highly recommend them!

"Thank You VonKid…"
Today was my son’s first day with VonKids. I was nervous like any parent. Not because I didn’t think he wouldn’t be cared for well but worried that he would not adapt easily. Boy was I ever wrong. He did better then I expected. For a 13 month old who is usually all over the place, I saw videos of him sitting down listening to music, sitting down learning the alphabet. It was wonderful seeing how engaged the child care provider was and also how she got my son to be engaged. Having pictures and videos emailed to me and a daily report of what my son did today, what he ate etc was wonderful. It took a weight off my shoulder and put me at ease more. Thank you VonKids, particularly Karina for making my son’s first day go so well

"I Would Recommend…"
I have 2 children enrolled in VonKids childcare programs and I can simply not say enough good things about our experiences with them to this point.
When we set out to choose the right childcare for our (now 5 year old) daughter 4 years ago it was an incredibly daunting and stressful experience. We did our homework and settled on VonKids, which as it turns out was one of the best decisions we have ever made as parents. A year ago when it was time to find childcare for our (now 2 year old) son, it was a no-brainer, we went with VonKids.
I can say with confidence that I would recommend VonKids to anyone in Calgary who is looking for childcare of the highest quality.

"Have Been Thrilled…"
We have been at Von Kids for 6 months now and have been thrilled with the level of care our 18 month old is receiving. She is learning Spanish, has learnt to play cooperatively (as much as you can at this age), made friends and loves her director. I have no doubts that the director of Inspire is doing a wonderful job and truly cares about the children. In our experience Von Kids, although expensive, is worth the money and we appreciate the ability to be part time. The Day home is clean, age appropriate and a place the kids enjoy being. I am also amazed at the amount and level of crafts they are able to do with this age group. I would recommend Von Kids to anyone looking for child care.

"We Have Had A Really Good Experience…"
My son has been going to VonKids since he was 11 months and he is about to turn 2. We have had a really good experience. I like that they always have someone available to sub if the main care provider is away for an appointment or on vacation (not that either happen excessively). And our son goes part-time so they have been flexible letting us pick the days he goes. Our son asks about our dayhome operator when he’s not there and his little friends. He is smiles when we drop him off and is smiling when we pick him up at the end of the day. While VonKids is a little more on the pricy side for a dayhome in Calgary, our experience has been very positive and I like that it is a smaller group of kids versus at Daycare. And they have a great learning curriculum.

"Can’t Say Enough Good Things About Them…"
We have been using Von Kids for more than 4 years now, and can’t say enough good things about them; both of our children are currently attending Von Kids programs and it has been the perfect fit for us. Our directors (Lesly & Manjula) are beyond wonderful and truly love our kids like they were their own, and the administration team has always been very understanding/accommodating of our (ever changing) needs.

"We’ve Been Very Happy…"
My son has been going to a VonKids dayhome for over a year now We’ve been very happy with it. The VonKinds staff are responsive, and the woman who runs the dayhome is wonderful! She helps the kids adjust to being there and is great at teaching the curriculum in a way that is fun for little ones. We like the format of home-based child care as it’s easier for our son to adjust to and is in our neighbourhood. We also appreciate that the VonKids staff allow the dayhome operator to focus on the kids rather than on developing meal plans and admin work. My son smiles when we drop him off and is happy when we pick him up which is peace of mind for us.

VonKids brings the best of day cares in Calgary within a day home model. They have several throughout the city and they are great. Very consistent and high quality! Highly recommended. My kids went there and my friends’ kids went there. Been around for awhile. Higher on the price end but what they offer is beyond what other day homes provide!
